And yes, she writes it and the biggest network stars say it: Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Barbara Walters. She has created national shows for Dateline NBC, served as head writer for Good Morning America and written for CBS News, ABC World News Now, NBC Nightly News, National Public Radio, the New York Daily News and the Associated Press.

Barbara is always on the trail of the unusual, the exciting, the enlightening...and has crafted her finds into programs for the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Bravo, PBS and other television outlets, has produced docudramas for WGBH and has expanded media operations in Los Angeles, Boston, North Carolina and Seattle.

At CBS, Barbara served as executive producer for Gulf War coverage, controlling and guiding the network in its award-winning broadcasts. She's a hit-hunter and scored big at NBC, where she was instrumental in creating an entirely new, cutting edge division for podcasting, the mobile network NBC-To-Go, a hot feature picked up by Verizon and Sprint.

Never one to shy away from big game, Barbara has interviewed Presidents, including Bill Clinton and George Bush, covered everything from the turmoil of war to the wonder of the space shuttle and most of the critical events of the last three decades.

Her explorations and adventures have let her trot the globe as a foreign correspondent during clashes in Ireland, summits in Russia and World War Two commemorations on the beaches of France. And there's always the red-carpet treatment, where you can find her chatting with the famous, the soon-to-be famous and even the infamous.

Barbara put her creative stamp on the field of animation as part of the team that developed the Star Trek series and Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. She's a noted film critic, travel writer and photojournalist and has been an on-air personality with programs in LA, Boston, Seattle and Washington, DC.
